What is Galentine’s Day?

Ladies, forget Valentine's drama - February 13th is for the real MVPs! It's Galentine's Day, when women everywhere ditch the romance for waffles, wine, and wild stories with their ride-or-die crew. Created by the fictional queen Leslie Knope but embraced by real-world warriors, it's the holiday where "single and fabulous" meets "married but still needs her girls." Watch as normally composed professionals transform into karaoke superstars, sharing embarrassing dating stories over bottomless mimosas. Because nothing says "female friendship" like ugly-crying over Parks and Recreation reruns while crafting questionable DIY gifts at midnight.

Check the list of events above to find a Galentine’s Day event near you!

From our sponsor, 5th Street Poker League

Ready to be the local version of Daniel Negreanu or Phil Hellmuth? 5th Street Poker has games every night of the week. Also, starting back in January, there will be fundraiser events most Saturday nights during the year in which you can compete for real cash and contribute to great charities.

The Alpharetta Raiders Poker Tournament is being held on February 15th at Stars & Strikes in Cumming. Come out to compete for a piece of the $1,500.00 total prize pool.

Dad joke of the week

What did one watermelon say to the other on Valentine’s Day? "You're one in a melon!"
